CIEMAS

Our laboratories occupy approximately 3,000 sqft located in two newly built buildings, both situated on Duke University West Campus. The Fitzpatrick Center, FCIEMAS, shown above houses our state-of-the-art photonic instruments such as microscopes, lasers, near field scanning optical microscope (NSOM), Raman confocal microscope, single-molecule detection, hyperspectral imaging, and nanosensor microscope system. The French Science Center, below, provides excellent facilities for wet chemistry, nanoparticle synthesis, molecular probe development, and various commercial spectrometers (UV Absorption, Fluorescence, Raman).
